About Red Rice Books
Red Rice Books is an online bookshop that introduces itself as a Black owned, woman owned store built around books and food. The shelf runs to hundreds of titles and reads like a hand-picked selection rather than a generic bestseller wall, with a clear lean towards writing about cooking, food history and the culture that gathers around a table.
Cookbooks are a big part of the catalog: titles such as Simple Art of Rice, Gumbo, Jambalaya and Beyond, The Black Family Reunion Cookbook, Southern Cooking Global Flavors and Soul Food sit alongside essays, poetry, fiction and books for younger readers. Beyond the books, the shop carries small goods including printed bookmarks and candles, and it sells tickets to its own author talks and community events.
Orders are fulfilled from a warehouse using a drop-shipping model that the store says it chose to cut ecommerce waste, and delivery is charged as a flat rate per shipping service rather than folded into the price. To help you plan an order, this page gathers the current Red Rice Books promo codes and deals in one place, along with the shipping, returns and support details to check before you order.
How to Use a Red Rice Books Promo Code
Applying a Red Rice Books promo code only takes a minute at checkout:
- Pick a deal on this page, then head to redricebooks.com and add your titles to the cart.
- Open your cart and proceed to checkout.
- Paste the code into the discount box and apply it.
- Check that the total updated before you pay.
For offers marked 'Get Deal', no code is needed: the discount applies automatically through the link.
Promo Code Not Working? Try This
- Some offers are deals, not codes: 'Get Deal' offers apply automatically through the link, so there is nothing to paste.
- Check the exclusions: gift cards and event tickets are often left out of a promotion.
- Mind the minimum: some offers only kick in above a certain cart value.
- One code per order: the checkout accepts a single discount at a time.
- Copy the code cleanly, without extra spaces before or after it.
If a code still will not apply, it has probably expired. The offers on this page are rechecked regularly, so grab a fresh one here.
Red Rice Books Savings Hacks
- Shipping is charged per delivery service, not per book, so building one order with several titles costs less than paying the rate twice.
- Compare the delivery options at checkout: USPS Media Mail is the cheapest domestic service on the list, while the courier and next day options cost more and arrive faster.
- Leave the optional extras unticked unless you want them. Gift wrapping and insured delivery are added on top of the shipping rate, and neither is refundable later.
- Watch this page for new codes and deals, and pair a promo code with titles already marked down for the lowest total.
Red Rice Books Shipping Policy
